Organic Chemistry Tutor

Organic Chemistry TutorThe chemist has the scientific proficiency to handle the concept of monatomic ions and also the monatomic protons. The monatomic ions are extremely crucial in chemistry. The monatomic ions are usually given the name monatomic because of the fact that they are composed of only one atom. The scientists with this knowledge can be called as the chemical pros. With this in mind, the scientists started experimenting with the molecules that were not so many atoms as ionic compounds. Then came the use of chemical formula and the demand for an organic chemistry tutor. Organic chemistry is one of the most vital science that not only teaches you the theory of chemistry but also the application of the same in the real world. The chemistry tutor can play a crucial role in imparting knowledge to the student. In any teaching you have to prepare the students with a well-developed concept of what science is all about and how good quality chemicals are produced. The ultimate packing checklist for teaching abroad

The ultimate packing checklist for teaching abroad Teaching abroad is an exciting experience: beautiful destinations to explore, interesting people to meet and a brand-new community to become a part of! But getting ready to move abroad and packing everything you need to live in a different country in one suitcase can be a stressful and daunting process. Whether you’re teaching English abroad in a far-off destination, teaching in China or teaching in the Middle East, there are some essentials that you’ll need to help make your transition overseas as stress-free as possible. The end goal should be to bring as little with you as possible since additional or overweight bags can be quite expensive to fly with. While some of the items that you’ll need will be available in your new country, others may be difficult to find, or much more expensive to purchase overseas. It’s normal to have a ton of questions on what you should pack to bring with you on your first adventure teaching abroad. Luckily, at Teach Away, many of us have been in your shoes before. Here’s what we advise to make room for in your suitcase before boarding that plane: Comfort food from home Everyone has their favorite comfort food that they’ve been eating since childhood. Chances are that when you're teaching abroad it will be difficult to get this stuff at your local grocery store. So stock up on non-perishable comforts before you go and make some extra room for them in your suitcase. For those days when you’re yearning for some home comforts, your favorite foods may be the perfect antidote to that dreaded homesickness we all occasionally feel when teaching abroad! Universal plug adaptors Types of plugs vary around the world. It’s a good idea to do some research before you leave on the types of outlets most commonly used in the country you’ll be teaching in. That being said, you’ll (hopefully) be traveling as well while teaching and living abroad, so it’s a good idea to buy a universal plug adaptor so you can charge your electronic devices, no matter where you are in the world! Toiletries Although products like shampoo and toothpaste will be relatively easy to find abroad, some other essentials may not be as common. Stockpile toiletries like deodorant, moisturizer or hair gel/spray, especially if you prefer to use a specific brand. The brands you’re used to buying at home may simply not be accessible in your new teaching location. Medication Before you go, make up an emergency medical kit with the most necessary medicine you might need, such as cold, allergy, headache or stomach pills. If you take any prescribed medications, be sure to pack at least a three-month supply. Check with your doctor on how you to obtain refills in your new country before you go and write down the generic name for medications to make refilling prescriptions easier. Language barriers may prove tricky if you need to get a prescription from a pharmacy. And don’t forget that over-the-counter medication, like Advil or Tylenol, may be hard to find in a foreign language or may even go by another name. Sidenote: Anything critical should be always placed in your carry-on luggage. Don’t put your family photos, laptop, or personal documents in your checked suitcase. A good rule to live by when moving abroad - if you want to see it again, carry it on! Sign up to Teach Away today for access to the latest teaching jobs around the world. Comfortable shoes (that fit!) OK, we all know that you can buy shoes pretty much anywhere in the world, but it’s important to consider if it’s likely that you can buy what you need while living overseas! When teaching in Asia especially, it can be hard to find larger shoe sizes for both men and women. Pack comfortable, durable shoes that work for a variety of activities. Athletic shoes, as well as a more formal pair that will work for in the classroom, will cover your basic needs. Unlocked phone Make sure you have an unlocked phone - that is, a device that isn’t locked into one specific service provider in your home country (your friends and family will probably want to talk to you on the phone at some point during your adventure abroad!)If your phone is unlocked, all you have to is buy a SIM card once you arrive and swap out your old one from back home. If you don’t have an unlocked phone, you can always purchase a new unlocked one once you arrive - either option works. It’s also worth setting your friends and family up with apps like Skype, WhatsApp, or FaceTime before you go so that you can avoid incurring any long-distance charges! And take a look at our blog for more ideas to help you keep in touch with loved ones back home while teaching abroad. Deciding to move abroad for a year (or even longer) is no easy task. We hope this list gave you a headstart when deciding what to pack for the big move. To help you through the process of moving abroad, we’ve also put together a helpful pre-departure checklist, covering all the things you need to think about and organize when you’re preparing to teach abroad for the first time! What additional items would you bring with you when teaching abroad for the first time? If you’ve taught abroad in the past, let us know your packing essentials in the comments below!

5 Tips From a San Diego College Tutor

5 Tips From a San Diego College Tutor San Diego College Tutor Tips: 5 Things to Tell Your Kid Before They Start College Many kids are getting excited to find which colleges theyve been accepted to and make their final decision. Then they have a few months before they move away and start an entirely new chapter of their life. The first semester of college is a major adjustment, but kids who know what to expect have an easier time than those who enter the situation without planning ahead. Although each student’s situation will differ depending on what type of college theyre attending and what theyre planning to study, some universal tips and tricks can help make the transition easier Its never too early or too late for San Diego college tutoring. 1.   Time management One of the most crucial things for college students to know about before moving into the dorms is how to manage their time. This is the first time in their lives that students don’t have household rules and don’t have a teacher guiding different aspects of an assignment. College professors will give students a due date and a list of assignment requirements and expect students to figure out how long it will take them to complete it. Two students doing the same assignment might need a totally different amount of time-based on their interest in the subject and their previous knowledge of it. Students also need to figure out how long it takes them to do chores, plan social activities, and even maintain a part-time job. Its important for students to think about this ahead of time so theyre not completely caught off guard in the fall. 2. Becoming a well-rounded individual One of the benefits of a four-year college is that it allows a student to become a well-rounded individual by taking a lot of different courses both in and outside of their major. However, one of the best ways students can become well-rounded is to learn how to balance their time. Students need to be able to focus on assignments and make attending class a priority, but they also need to have enough downtime so that their brain can rest and they can enjoy the overall university experience. This will take some experimentation on the student’s part so the earlier they start working on this skill, the better. 3. Signing up for the right classes It can be confusing enough for students to figure out which classes they need to take their freshman year, so theyre on the right track but students also have to think about the difficulty level of the classes. There are so many things students have to adjust to, so its not a good idea to take four really difficult classes straight away. Students should think about the classes theyre signing up for and talk to an academic counselor before making a final decision. 4. Adjusting to life away from home Another thing to keep in mind is what life will look like when students are away from home. There are a lot of chores and other tedious aspects of life that students may not yet be familiar with. Additionally, students will be living with dozens of other people their age, all of whom can provide distractions from studying. Its essential for students to think about where they will be able to find a quiet study space, how they will be able to maintain a healthy, and how they will be able to advance their social life with academic commitments (READ: 5 Signs You Need a Math Tutor in College). 5. Earning money and financial planning Another aspect of life students encounter for the first time is how to deal with money. Some students will be on a scholarship while others will have taken out a student loan. Financial planning makes all the difference between an excellent experience or one that becomes stressful and overwhelming. Students should think about how much money they need to earn and how much theyll have to spend before they start college so they can live within their budget and avoid unnecessary debt. Healthy Snacks to Serve at Your Superbowl Party

Healthy Snacks to Serve at Your Superbowl Party Photo Via: Pixabay.com 1. Veggie Pizza While it’s certainly no substitute for that cheesy goodness that is regular pizza, veggie pizza is a great snack for your guests and is relatively good for you. You can use whatever type of dough you want (whole wheat for the best results) and use a low-fat cream cheese as the base. From here, add your favorite veggies and then top with some low-fat cheese to complete. This is a quick, simple and healthy alternative pizza for your Superbowl party. 2. Hummus/Guacamole Normally, this is the time to break out this chips and dip, but when you’re considering healthier options, it’s probably best to put away that French onion nonsense. Instead, make a homemade dip, such as hummus or guacamole, and pick the ingredients you’re putting in so that you can make it healthily. This is also a good time to put together some salsa and other healthier versions of dips and you can substitute the normal chips with veggies as well for the added health bonus. No matter what, your dips will be a hit and a great draw to your snack table throughout the game. 3. Veggie Buffalo Meatballs Some of us really live for the spice, and when you’re eating healthy, it’s difficult to insert that into your snacking. However, with this healthy alternative to wings, you can have the heat and enjoy it, too! You would make these like any other veggie meatballs, simply adding the buffalo sauce you like to use when it comes to your wings. Again, you can choose exactly how healthy you want to go here, but you have a lot of room for experimenting. Additionally, there are people that use cauliflower in place of veggie burgers for that extra ounce of healthiness, but it’s completely up to you. 4. Chicken Chili With my family, chili has always been a Superbowl staple. So when you’re looking at healthy Superbowl snacks, this gets thrown out rather quickly. However, there are healthier versions of chili that you can use and, in this case, that simply means substituting that fatty, ground beef with a leaner meat such as chicken. Of course, you can play with this recipe however you want, but the best way to keep that flavor is to use more kidney beans and additional veggies and simply replace the fattier meats. You can also skip the sour cream and cheese as toppings for additional health benefits. 5. Sweet Potato Chips/Fries Sure, regular fries aren’t exactly “healthy.” But removing them from a Superbowl party altogether? Unheard of. Instead, replace your normal fries with a healthier alternative: sweet potatoes. They’re just as good and add that little bit of sweetness your appetizers may be missing. You can make wedges, regular fries or chips, depending on what your snack table needs. The best part about these is that they are quick and easy and don’t require too much of your time, so you can spend your Sunday watching the game rather than stressing out in the kitchen. 6. Fruit/Veggie Platter Last, but definitely not least, your healthy, Superbowl snack table needs a veggie tray. This is easily the healthiest option you’re going to have for your guests, and it takes you almost no time to put together. You can always pick up a tray from the store, or create your own with vegetables that you and your friends like. For added snacks, put together a fruit salad for your guests (again, store bought or put together on your own) and this will satisfy the sweet tooth without breaking anyone’s diets or New Year’s resolutions (if they were able to maintain them this long). With these six healthy snacks, your Superbowl party is going to be an absolute hit with all in attendance, and for all the right reasons! So don’t stress out about your planning, simply gather the ingredients, throw together these healthy snacks and sit back and relax, because you have plenty of commercials and football to watch, and especially that Superbowl halftime show! This year, the football champions aren’t going to be the only winners. Have a great time!

What Does General Chemistry Entail?

What Does General Chemistry Entail? The world of chemistry has its own famous scientist called the chemist, who does not only study the atoms of an element, but also the chemical reactions that take place between the elements. To be more precise, there are three major divisions in the study of chemistry: atomic or molecular chemistry, which is the study of atoms and molecules, which is the study of what goes on in the interiors of the atoms and molecules; the chemistry of the solids, including the physics of solids, which deals with the interactions that take place between the solid and the molecules; and the chemistry of liquids, which deals with the interactions between the two types of materials.Chemists consider it one of the most important branches of chemistry, as their techniques were basically the same for all other branches of science: experimentation and observation. They collected and studied substances that they found out from nature - all the different elements. In many c ases, they succeeded in creating compounds which had properties similar to those of the elements.Another branch of chemistry is molecular chemistry, where the scientists study the molecular structure of the elements and other molecules. This branch of chemistry was basically a continuation of the original chemistry, where they studied the properties of the elements through the observation of the elements' chemical bonding. This is the branch of chemistry that deals with the properties of the elements together with the properties of the bonds between these elements. It provides an important tool for the understanding of various chemical reactions and enables the scientist to see how all these elements react when they come in contact with each other.Chemistry also deals with the thermodynamics of the elements. This branch of chemistry is basically the study of chemical processes that take place under an external environment, and sometimes in an internal environment. It is important fo r the physicists to understand this branch of chemistry, as they use it to predict what will happen under the presence of different elements. General chemistry is essentially a branch of physics, in which this branch of physics explains the bonds between all elements and is responsible for the predictions of the reactions that take place. The last major branch of chemistry is the mathematics of chemistry. The mathematicians have been using mathematics to study chemical reactions since the earliest times. There are several mathematical models of chemical reactions that are used to analyze chemical reactions and understand how the different elements and molecules are attracted to each other and repel each other. As it has been known since the time of the ancient Greeks, an electron is like a point, and an atom is a kind of point that can absorb a number of electrons and then release them in another direction. In addition to chemistry, there are other branches of mathematics such as calc ulus, which deal with the relationships among numbers and geometry, and Algebra, which deal with the relationships among all these different branches of mathematics. The idea of science does not really mean that everything has to be scientifically proven. It is important to know the scientific world view, as this can make a difference between a good scientist and a bad scientist. One must always be careful when dealing with information that may prove inaccurate and might damage the reputation of an individual or an organization. The basic divisions of chemistry are the chemical bonds and the chemical elements. It has been widely used for many years in the study of the elements and its chemical bonds, which could be used in the study of the behavior of the elements in different types of materials, and so on.

How to Learn Chemistry With a Molecular Approach PDF

How to Learn Chemistry With a Molecular Approach PDFMost students who learn Chemistry understand the concept of acid-base mixtures, but struggle with concepts related to Liquid and gaseous state. So if you are also one of them, here are some interesting possibilities that Chemical Abstracts has developed a Molecular Approach PDF. The lessons are easy to understand for those who have a problem understanding the physics or reading abstracts. It's a PDF that will teach you how to create your own alchemy theories from the abstracts. A PDF is a computer program that you download from the internet. It contains all the math and other information needed to be able to write your own chemistry theories. For example, you can read about the reaction of Hydrogen to give Acetone. All you need to do is learn how to transform the Abstract to be able to make the Abstract into a digital solution. There are different levels of the Molecular Approach. The first level teaches you to learn how to create the exact compound that you need to make the substance. The second level will guide you to actually produce the chemical from a lab. You may be a little scared at first, but you will be surprised at how easy it is to learn chemistry! You can download the PDF and study the abstracts online. This allows you to prepare for the actual lab because you will be able to compare your work with the other's. It also allows you to check your results since you can see what you are doing on your workbench. The Abstracts are very important for a science student, so don't just look at the abstract but read it too. Tips for Singers How to Make Your Own Music Video

Tips for Singers How to Make Your Own Music Video Suzy S. Have you ever wanted to make your own music video? Here, voice teacher Liz T. shares the steps for creating your first video With technology today, making videos for your personal website or platforms such as YouTube, Vimeo, or Vine can be a great way to share your music with the world! I have released several videos to my original songs, and want to help you create your first music video. Follow my tips for creative inspiration! 1. Visualize Your Music So youve recorded a great song now your task is to sit down with a notebook and visualize your music. What is the story or scenes you want to depict in your video? Jot down as many ideas that come to you. Think of characters, places, props, scenery, costumes, and so on. Look in your lyrics and melody to help with your brainstorming! Really get creative, and don’t be afraid to explore. You want your video to be original, so don’t try to copy another person’s vision! Once you have your ideas, this will be your visual storyboard that you should give to your videographer and actors involved in the music video. There are many acting websites online (and even Craigslist) where you can advertise for people to act in your music video. Some will want pay, but some will do this for free to build up their acting reels! You can also recruit family and friends you may be surprised how many of your friends will want to participate! 2. Find a Videographer Find a videographer who has a decent camera and knows how to work with actors and musicians. He or she should also have a knowledge of editing music and putting it to film. I suggest asking to see some of their work before you hire your videographer.  Also, consider your budget; I personally would not spend more than $1,000 on your music video if you are an indie artist. You can often find film students and videographers who are just starting out and may even volunteer their services to build their portfolio. Once youve hired your videographer, send him or her your music, lyrics, and visual storyboard ahead of time so that everyone will be prepared when it comes time to filming! You should also scout out locations ahead of time. You may want to select a place where you can shoot for free, such as your neighborhood street, the subway, parks, or a church. You can also reach out to local businesses and offer them promotion and advertising in your video. Ive filmed many scenes of my videos for free at local restaurants, bars, music stores, and schools to help advertise their company, and they love it! 3. Filming Now that you have your visual storyboard, videographer, actors, and set locations, it’s time to film! Make sure you allot several hours for filming. Some people prefer to shoot all in one day, while others may want to break it up over time. Just remember: filming always takes twice as long than expected. Weather, traffic, and noise can factor into your shooting time. When you shoot your video, you can either lip sync or sing along with your track. Either way, it should look real and authentic. It’s best to have your song playing near you while you’re shooting the scene, either on your iPhone or on a set of speakers. 4. Editing Your Final Product It’s important that your videographer takes multiple shots, or takes, of the scenes you are doing. He or she should also film you singing the entire song, so that you will have enough footage to use. Most music videos are between two to five minutes long, and you will need a lot of footage to choose from for your video. You may want to ask your videographer for a rough draft of the video, and also ask him or her what a realistic timeframe is for the completed video. It’s not a bad idea to have a contract in writing of both your expectations. Follow these steps and youll be able to make your own music video that showcases your work and your talent. Now get out there are start filming! Liz T. teaches singing, acting, and music lessons in Brooklyn, NY, as well as online.  She is a graduate of the Berklee College of Music with a B.M in Vocal performance and currently performs/teaches all styles of music including Musical Theater, Classical, Jazz, Rock, Pop, RB, and Country.  Learn more about Liz here! Kickboxing Equipment and Where to Buy It

Kickboxing Equipment and Where to Buy It Everything You Need to Go Kickboxing ChaptersWhat Style of Kickboxing Should I be Doing? What Do I Need to Go Kickboxing?Gear for General Fitness Training.Where Do I Buy My Kickboxing Gear?Maybe you have read our article on the health benefits of kickboxing and now think that you need this sport in your life. Maybe you have seen some of the kickboxing world champions on the TV and have been inspired. Or maybe your mate brought you along to a class and now you are hooked, obsessed, addicted.Either way, if you are going to be taking your new favourite sport seriously, you are going to have to think about some of the gear you are going to need. And, from protective gear to your clothes and training equipment, there is really a lot to think about. Kickboxing is one of the most dynamic of combat sports, remember â€" so you need to be prepared. As a casual kickboxer, your boxing training studio or gym will most likely supply most of the equipment for you. Yet, if you are going often, you don’t really want to be using for too long a boxing glove that’s been passed around a thousand people. And then think about sharing the boxing shoes, the ankle support, and â€" God forbid â€" the mouthguard. Let’s not actually think about that.Anyway, at some point, you are going to want to be buying your own training gear. Whilst it is an expense, it is just, simply easier. So, here are some of the key bits of boxing equipment that you are going to need in your kickboxing gear bags. And, at the bottom, we show you some of the best places to buy it all. Kickboxing, Muay Thai, and savate (French kickboxing) all have very different requirements, different levels of contact, and different conventions. So, it is worth being clear on which you will be doing before going ahead and buying the whole lot.For example, a lot of stuff is going to change if you are doing kickboxing in a cardio-fitness class rather than Muay Thai. In the former case, you aren’t going to need a mouth guard, because no-one really should be punching you in the face at all.Meanwhile, if you are going to into a Muay Thai competition, you will need to consider the obligatory fightwear that Muay Thai fighters wear. This is a convention that you don’t need to follow in your home gym â€" but is necessary when you are participating i n official bouts. So, think about all this quite clearly. You don’t want to end up with savate footwear when you simply don’t need it. And people might look at you a bit funny if you went into a kickboxing ring wearing Muay Thai rope hand wrap.Check out our article on the different types of kickboxing. You can't kickbox without the right gearWhat Do I Need to Go Kickboxing? But let’s get down to it. Here are some of the essential things you’ll need when you are kick boxing â€" both for protection and for fitness.Gloves.The iconic and essential boxing gear: the gloves. Lightweight MMA gloves or the rounded leather gloves, effective handwear is absolutely essential for all boxers â€" for the sake of your hands and for the sake of your opponent’s face. This stands for those using punching bags as well as those who are sparring. Don’t bother with bag gloves: whilst these are more lightweight â€" as they have less padding â€" if you ever want to level up to proper competitive bouts, you’ll need the real thing. Get them in fourteen- or sixteen-ounce sizes. You don’t need specific Muay Thai gloves: these sizes will do for sparring gloves and training gloves in both kickboxing and Muay Thai.Mitts.Mitts â€" or focus mitts â€" are the pads that, whilst training, will protect your pa rtner’s or coach’s hands from your punches. Whilst you won’t benefit from them yourself â€" unless you are swapping the puncher and the trainer â€" they are all-important. And they will make your training more effective.Whoever wears the mitts will call out combinations and return some pressure to your punch or kick.Hand Wraps. You’re wearing your kickboxing gloves. That’s all good. But when taking boxing very seriously â€" and doing it a lot â€" you may want to consider handwraps. These you wear beneath your gloves, and they provide compression, security, and stability to the muscles and tissue in your hands. They provide extra protection, essentially â€" and a harder hit to your opponent. In Muay Thai, you may have noticed that fighters wrap their hands in rope. Whilst different regions do this differently, the main aim is, again, protection. It will cover your hand and knuckles, give wrist support, and, sometimes, even extend to your elbow.Check out some of the world champ ions of kickboxing. The right kickboxing equipment is essentially for your own safety tooBody Armour: Shin Guards and Head Guards.Body armour sounds a little intimidating. But, remember, in kickboxing, you are fighting â€" and, in fights, people get hurt. The point in protective guards is to prevent more serious injury than is absolutely necessary. (In Muay Thai, the aim is to knock your opponent out, so injury to some extent is inevitable.) That’s why protection is usually used for particular pain points: the head and the shins.Your headgear will protect your temples and forehead, primarily. For styles like American kickboxing, in which low kicks are forbidden, you will expect kicks to the head â€" and it’s worth having something there between you and your skull.Meanwhile, in styles like savate, shinguards are fairly indispensable â€" as low kicks can go straight to an extremely painful area.Talking of extremely painful areas, guys, get a groin protector too.Mouth Guards.A must in your sparring gear , a mouthguard or gum shield will prevent a tinkling of teeth to the floor after a wallop in the mush. It’s fairly self-explanatory this one â€" but as important as all the rest.Remember, if you are not intending to do fights, then all of this stuff is superfluous. A punch bag won’t punch back.Foot Guards. In kickboxing, you’ll be striking your feet constantly. And, to ensure that you are protected from the force of your own strength, it is important that you take care to wear the correct foot protection.Kickboxing foot guards give support to your muscles, tendons, your little bones in your toes, and your ankles â€" and they won’t obstruct your footwork at all.If you are doing savate, you’ll need some special shoes for this style. There are quite strict rules from the presiding body, so it is important that you take care: no hard bits, no parts that can snag on an opponent’s clothes. In savate, the shoes are your main weapon, so make sure they are comfortable.Learn about t he kickboxing rules here!Clothing. When kickboxing, the chances are that you are going to get really hot and sweaty. So effective sports clothing is preferable â€" if not essential. You want clothes with some breathability â€" as well as boxing shorts that are not too baggy. Otherwise, they’ll just get in the way, and that’s not something you want. For beginners, decent sports gear will work well enough.Punch Bags.Whilst far from essential if you are going to training at the gym, a punching bag of your own is great if you want to bring your kickboxing training into your home.Whether they hang from the ceiling or they are freestanding, the punch bag is the indispensable piece of gear for your practice. Whether you are just boxing for your own general fitness or you are training actively towards a bout, a punchbag is the way that you will improve the quickest. Kickbox like a champion.Gear for General Fitness Training.Whilst we’ve listed the essentials, you’ll find that you’ll become a better kickboxer if you commit hard to your general fitness. This means cardio, weight training, and strength training â€" and there are plenty of tools you can use for this.Take the skipping rope, the famous exercise tool of the boxer. This will help you develop your agility, speed, and cardio.A kettlebell or a selection of dumbbells are handy for strength training too.Where Do I Buy My Kickboxing Gear? There are all sorts of places that sell kickboxing gear â€" from generic online marketplaces like Amazon to specialist local sports shops and your boxing gym. You’ll find specialist stores online too, like BoxFitUK, Geezers Boxing, Fight Outlet, and SugarRays. All of these places will provide you with all the equipment that you could possibly need.Look out for some of the best brands in the boxing and kickboxing market. Everlast is a classic, with some of the most famous names in the sport using their products. Otherwise, Twins make quality equipment and Blitz too. Finally, learn everything you need to get started in kickboxing!
